Making the harp accessible and affordable for everyone

Many people see the harp as a beautiful, heavenly instrument, out of reach of us mere mortals. The same price as a family car and surely complicated to play right? Well no. Of course, there are harps that require a second mortgage to afford, and mastering this instrument takes the same 10,000 hours of practice as any other skill. But for every Jamie Cullum, Jimi Hendrix, Joshua Bell or Louis Armstrong, there are millions of enthusiastic musicians playing for their own joy on smaller stages or in their own bedroom. So why, when we think about taking up an instrument, do we think about piano, guitar, violin and a handful of others, but not the harp.

We want to make the harp available for everyone. Our course is a great way for beginners to get a good grounding of how to play this beautiful instrument. It’s only costs £45 a month to have a subscription and harp hire, much less than most people think it costs to learn an instrument.
